Anambra state indigenes and settlers has been in a state of confusion and anxiety as news spreads that the Nigerian army's supposed medical outreach was meant to infect the people with monkey pause. Nigerian Navy resumes Direct short service commission intake

Captain Suleman Dahun, acting director of public relations, Nigerian Navy on Tuesday disclosed the Nigerian Navy has resumed the process for the enlistnent of qualified Nigerian graduates into the direct short service commission of the Nigerian Navy.  According to Dahun, the guidelines for the enlistment can be accessed on the Nigerian Navy Enlistment Portal which will be opened on October 11, for interested candidates to apply online. He said interested applicants, who must be Nigerians by birth , should possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Division for first degree holders and Upper Credit for HND holders . The director added that Male applicants must not be less than 1 . 68 metres tall, while female applicants must not be less than 1 . 65 metres in height. He also said applicants should be of between 22 and 28 years by Jan. 31, 2018 , except for Imams and Chaplains who should not exceed 30 years by Jan. 31.

The Nigerian army has denied reports over attack of soldiers by ISIS or Bokoharam in Borno State. Colonel Onyema Nwachukwu, deputy director public relations operation lafiya doyle has stated that it never occurred in his statement below; “The attention of the Theatre Command Operation Lafiya Dole has been drawn to a news article published online by Almardanews.com (AMN), in which one Chris Tomson claimed ISIS had in an ambush against Nigerian Army convoy, executed 30 soldiers on Friday afternoon. “It is very pertinent to state here, that contrary to the report, there was no such attack or ambush on any convoy of troops of operation Lafiya Dole by ISIS or any other adversary within or outside the theatre of operation. “The said report is not only false but another media propaganda and an attempt by Boko Haram terrorists to remain relevant and portray seeming potency.
