People's reactions to the Nigerian army medical outreach in Ozubulu, Anambra state

Anambra state indigenes and settlers has been in a state of confusion and anxiety as news spreads that the Nigerian army's supposed medical outreach was meant to infect the people with monkey pause. See people's reactions on Linda Ikeji's blog below;

Issorait says--This shows that adequate publicity and awareness wasn't done before the exercise. The military is already viewed with suspicion. They should have done the needful to carry the people along. If it were election campaign there would announcements from every rooftop.

An anonymous person said -- We don't want there free medical treatment they should go and do it in North were meningitis and other sicknesses are killing people. Period!!!!

Antidote says---Isn't this hilarious and ridiculous? where are all those who insulted Linda for saying it is Hilarious? Am rolling on the floor with laughter over this. Are my people this gullible? They even named the virus even before the supposed symptoms. I wonder why people do not use their God given brains. What this IPOB propagandists need is brain. May it fall on them.

A proverb says any man who had been stunned by the bees will take to his heels just sighting a house flies. The army who just tortured and killed young men and women few weeks ago in the south east can not be seen as caring for the well being of the same people , so this kind of reactions should be expected from the people not minding the good intention of the army.

The problem of Army Civilian relationship in the eastern part of Nigeria is that of TRUST. or LACK of TRUST. The average easterners living in the east have little or no TRUST in the Federal Government and its operatives especially the Army.
