UNN STUDENT ARRESTED FOR CATCHING A POLICE MAN ON CAMERA TAKING BRIBE

Unfortunately for  Urama Kingsley a student of  faculty of the Social sciences in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka; a policeman of the federal highway patrol in Nsukka rained hell on him for taking a photograph of him when he was collecting money from a bike man at the check point.

Earlier, Kingsley and his colleagues had been on their way to field practice when they were stopped at the checkpoint, their bus was supposed to be given a pass for being a school bus loaded with students but the policemen didn't mind keeping them there until the normal settlement is done, the student tried to protest but the driver gave in before long.
However, the students didn't give up there, they decided to shame the policemen by taking a shot of them collecting money from drivers when returning. On their way back, one of the police men with service number 46........  caught Kingsley while he was trying to take a shot of him taking bribe and immediately stopped the bus, seized the phone, handcuffed Kingsley, and put him in their patrol van.
Trust students, they refused to leave their colleague when they were told to leave.
Furthermore, the policeman claimed that the student wanted to ruin his career by taking the shot and posting it online. Kingsley was later released after much pleading from the students and a SARS officer who was a relation to him. But is it a crime for a civilian to photograph a policeman taking bribe?
